Position Description The Junior Relationship Manager will have primary ownership of the partnership between SEI and a portfolio of US clients. These clients utilize SEI\u2019s broad array of processing and asset management services. This individual will play a key role in managing the transformation of Private Banking\u2019s relationships into more strategic partnerships wherein our clients consume SEI\u2019s broad wealth management solutions in a holistic fashion. This individual is ultimately responsible for every aspect of SEI\u2019s business relationship with a client.. The RM acts a single point of contact for that client, advocating that client\u2019s requirements across the diverse set of services that the client consumes. The RM balances this advocacy by making sure the relationship is mutually beneficial to both the client and the SEI organization. This role could include technical account responsibilities for some client relationships reporting to a Managing Director of the segment. These responsibilities are noted under the \u201cResponsibilities\u201d section of this job description. The Junior Relationship Manager will report to the Managing Director of the segment within the Worldwide Relationship Management organization. Key responsibilities: \u2022 Build and maintain strategic business relationships across client organizations at a senior management level. \u2022 Develop a solid understanding of clients\u2019 strategic business and financial objectives \u2022 Clearly articulate and represent the SEI services and advice to transform our clients wealth management business. \u2022 Using established partnership relationship with the client, collaborate with the client to support the growth of their business by creating and delivering transformational program \u2022 Collaborate with service team and other internal partners to support client objectives in alignment with our client experience principles. \u2022 Retain and grow revenue stream for assigned clients \u2022 Maintain an execute on an account plan delivering our wealth management solutions \u2022 Manage all strategic sales opportunities \u2013 including cross sells for clients, leveraging the internal sales support infrastructure at SEI \u2022 Use effective call planning to minimize expense and maximize return on each business meeting Preparation of call reports for all relevant sales activities, to include client meetings and phone calls \u2022 Manage pipeline and forecast information for assigned clients \u2022 Negotiate , structure and execute on all contract related issues \u2022 Ensure quality service and manage client expectations in our partnership. Act as point of escalation\/resolution for any client issues that have a financial, legal or reputational impact on SEI \u2022 Manage and coach members of assigned team \u2013 if applicable. Goal setting and annual performance reviews \u2022 Act as leader to peers and support teams providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring on specific client issues and overall relationship management skills \u2022 Operate as the Chief Operating Officer for the relationship. \u2022 Act as Project Director for client projects including product installations, and Merger and Acquisition activity \u2013 identifying, resolving or escalating any critical issues. \u2022 Manage client\u2019s custom program initiatives from design through approval of the work authorization and transition to the service team for installation. \u2022 Implement the Standard Service Objectives for assigned clients and ensure proper reporting of service delivery \u2013 responsible for reviewing scorecards with Senior Manager on a regular basis. \u2022 Work with client managers and account team on a regular basis to communicate client business issues, set client expectations and appropriately address and resource critical service issues. \u2022 Provide sales support to Managing Director. Maintain an understanding of SEI\u2019s technology services and coordinate or deliver presentations\/demonstrations of service features and functionality. \u2022 Identify cross sell relationships and work with Managing Director on sales initiatives including contract negotiations, re-negotiations and amendments. \u2022 Provide support to client and SEI on vendor technical assessments. Position Requirements \u2022 Proven relationship management ,customer satisfaction and communication skills \u2022 Four year undergraduate degree desired \u2022 Thorough understanding of the SEI\u2019s business lines and the associated services. \u2022 A minimum of 3 years experience \u2022 Strategic planning experience \u2022 Prior experience in pricing, structuring and contract negotiations desired \u2022 Willingness to travel extensively \u2022 Training in Strategic Selling or comparable process or willingness to learn Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and\/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email Location and Travel: This position is based at corporate headquarters in Oaks, Pa and would require up to 50% travel annually.
