This position is responsible for completing the design, configuration, and implementation governance of technical solutions across multiple global functional business areas as related to the ERP SAP Demand Planning and Scheduling (DPS). This role provides effective solution designs to meet system strategies, capabilities, and technologies, to respond to current and future business requirements. Ensure that solutions are integrated end-to-end and that the necessary integration testing occurs to validate a solution and its touchpoints to ensure the technology meets stated Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
Complete technical designs for information systems, ranging from high-level conceptual designs to detailed technical specifications. *
Complete technical, infrastructure, and application efforts and initiatives. *
Execute system/application installation, patching, rollouts, releases, and upgrades ensuring technical standards and strategies are being followed. *
Perform quality assurance reviews of technical specifications produced by external resources contributing to H-D technology projects and perform quality assurance reviews of the work product of developers to ensure compliance with the design specifications.
Recommend design changes to production systems in response to changing business process, capacity, risks, and performance requirements. *
Periodically review technology foundation to develop lifecycle roadmaps for them. *
Contribute to the prioritization of technology problems and enhancement requests. *
Provide consulting and support services to identify technology system's operational, monitoring, and reporting requirements.
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Information Systems is preferred. Advanced Degree a plus.
5+ years experience related to SAP APO and Demand Planning *
5+ years of successful project delivery with a focus on systems design using waterfall and agile methodologies *
Working knowledge to other SAP functional areas like RTR (Financial Systems), OTC (Sales and Distribution, STP (Procurement and Inventory Management and PTP (Manufacturing) to function in an Agile environment
Hands-on experience with development tools, administration, design, configuration, customization, and implementation of applications, security, and 3rd party integrations *
Strong experience in, and orientation toward, solution design and structured system development methodologies *
Experience coordinating design activities and deliverables across a technology project or program *
Experience leading, mentoring, and developing other personnel in design and delivery roles *
A proven record of accomplishment in planning, managing, and delivering information systems, preferably in consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, or financial
*ABAP Programming and Debugging *Experience in relational databases and SQL tools *Experience with enterprise design tools such as Visual Paradigm
