Roles and Responsibilities
Ã¢â¬ Serves as a Mission Planner for B-2 operational Mission Planning Support Services at Whiteman AFB, MO.
Ã¢â¬ Plans and executes mission planning operations for long-range strike accomplished by the B-2 Spirit weapons system for U.S. Air Force.
Ã¢â¬ Ensures configuration of operational computer systems system monitors and subsystem performance. Establishes and applies operational procedures, support requirements, and mission materials required to control and operate the aircraft, weapons, and defensive systems.
Ã¢â¬ Configures the operational system aircraft employment tools for consistent techniques and tactics.
Ã¢â¬ Provides tactical expertise to the aircrew customer and the 509th Bomb Wing.
Ã¢â¬ Deploy as required to provide mission planning services at deployed locations
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Ã¢â¬ Bachelor's degree in a related field and6 yearsÃ¢â¬â¢ relevant experience.
Ã¢â¬ Previous B-2 pilot experience or experience as a Mission Planner or similar
Ã¢â¬ Current or immediate clearance to TS/SSBI/SCI/SAR/NC2-ESI
Ã¢â¬ Eligible for CW-A/B clearance or equivalent
