PURPOSE STATEMENT The Sales Planner will support the achievement of AOP targets and execution of sales priorities by providing Canadian Sales planning tools to most effectively drive growth at strategic customers. Through sales data analysis and key insight identification, the Sales Planner will engage sales and cross-functional team members to ensure alignment to governance principles and strategic plans. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES Lead the annual sales strategic planning process, establishing key principles with critical path oversight Ensure each plan is consistent with Division and category strategies; the marketing calendar and campaigns; and the Division sales strategies and specific sales initiatives Provide support for Canadian Sales forecasting and new business realization tracking Provide analysis for general sales execution including but not limited to: CRM metrics, Sales Incentive Plan tracking, new product development and channel scorecard execution Support Sales with customer development, including vendor portal ownership, trade reconciliation, and RFP document and contract analysis Be a Division u201cSuper Useru201d in CRM, SDS and Blacksmith. Support Sales as necessary with reports and training Provide Sales input to marketing for the development of demand creation tools Work with marketing to ensure Richu2019s RED is maximized and contains updated and relevant sales information KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Bacheloru2019s degree required (in Finance, Accounting or related field) Minimum 5 years analytical/financial experience (e.g. forecasting, P&L analysis, etc.) Strong analytical and problem solving skills Demonstrated project management skills including the ability to synthesize data and drive insights and outcomes; ability to prioritize Demonstrated customer-centric mindset Demonstrated self-starter and results driven to improve customer relationships as well as increase profitability Goal motivated and resolute in task completion with outright personal accountability, ethics and integrity Solid written and verbal communication skills to include strong presentation skills Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines is required.
