Kaiser Permanente of Washington is now recruiting for its 2018 Summer Internship Program, which is designed for highly qualified, diverse undergraduate and graduate students. This posting is for the position of Human Resources Intern. This undergraduate Intern will work in the Human Resources Department at the Renton Administrative Campus. This listing is for 3 intern positions within HR one in workforce development, talent management and the last in special projects. Specific projects for these positions are subject to change but these Human Resources Interns will focus on administrative support, special projects related to their placement.



This paid internship is designed to give you the opportunity to apply skills and knowledge obtained during school, while working in Kaiser Permanente’s integrated health care setting. Internships are 12 weeks and will run from June 12th through August 31st. Internships are up to 40 hours a week. Individual internships may start sooner from May 29th through August 17th depending on the student’s schedule. During the program, you will have the opportunity to:

Complete important work that will give you the skills and experience to help jumpstart your career.

Interact with other interns in various program events, both during the work day and through outside social activities.

Participate in Career exploration through informational interviews & presentations.

Attend brown-bag lunches with senior leaders.

Receive a performance evaluation from your preceptor.

Attend a workshop on resume writing and behavioral interviewing.

Give a presentation on your internship experience at the end of summer.


To be eligible for the summer internship program, the candidate must:

Be eligible to work in the United States        

Currently be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with junior or senior standing; or in between the first and second year of a graduate program at an accredited university

Hold a minimum 3.0 GPA
