What You Will Doing
The Senior Production Buyer / Planner position at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is an opportunity for a seasoned buyer/planner that is used to working in a fast paced environment that rapidly introduces new products into manufacturing. The position reports to the Director of Supply Chain.
Place and manage purchase orders based upon a demand plan for a wide variety of components, custom parts and mechanical and electro mechanical assemblies for both local manufacturing and in support of our European manufacturing partner
Manage the supply chain on existing turnkey assemblies, and support the transition of subassemblies into higher level turnkey assemblies
Analysis of material run out for turnkey transition of mechanical assemblies
Manage material sale to jump start production of turnkey assemblies
Manage the supply chain and placement of purchase orders for driver kits in the US, including supporting the setup of sourcing, printing, assembly and mailing for our European market
Support cost reduction activities, pursuing reductions where possible
Follow through to ensure on time delivery to support revenue / shipment plan
Report on material readiness to support production demand
Resolution of shipment and invoice discrepancies.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and detail oriented
Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain focus to meet deadlines
Applicable system knowledge:
NetSuite – or comparable ERP systems
Coupa or other cloud based procurement system
Arena / Agile
Microsoft Office Suite including: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook
Eight or more years of experience as a buyer / material planner in a high-tech manufacturing environment
Two or more years of experience with a manufacturing startup
Global organization experience
Cross organizational reporting on KPI’s
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience working with Asian suppliers
Experience with inbound logistics from Asia and Europe
