Job Title: Director of Business Planning & Data Analytics
Duties: Direct the company’s Commercial Excellence project to define detailed go-to-market strategies focusing on structure, resourcing and performance. Construct foundational pricing data metrics, interactive MPF modeling, and process flow charts for further strategic considerations. Perform comprehensive market and competitive analysis from all aspects, including macroeconomic indicators, industry database and company level due diligence to identify trends, opportunity sizes, and key competitive movements. Design multivariate statistical model and polynomial functions for the company’s Executive Incentive Plan, Sales Compensation Program, and annual merit-increase process with tiered differentiation. Develop metrics and tools for sales reporting, pricing, operations and other key business areas. Direct initiative to outline the company's Digital Strategy addressing dimensions on channel disruption, Internet of Things technologies, operational effectiveness, and organizational agility. Collaborate with executive leaders on Enterprise Strategy project, including full potential strategic assessment of each business unit. Collaborate with pricing leaders to define the company’s pricing strategy from four dimensions – process, data analytics, strategy, and training and mindset. Provide key analyses and recommendations on major commercial strategies and other executive projects. Support Business Development activities by providing evaluations of adjacency markets, assessment of strategic fit, M&A due diligence of potential targets, and financial pro forma valuation. Support annual Long Range Plan process by leading data analysis on each business unit’s competitive positioning, segment attractiveness, and strategic imperatives. Support business and functional leaders with key analysis of complex data, using advanced quantitative modeling and converting models to meaningful conclusions for decision making. QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Master's degree in Finance, Economics or Mathematics and one year of marketing analytics experience in the electric motor and power transmission industry including one year of experience in: 1) data analytics 2) quantitative modeling 3) creating sales compensation, marketing, pricing, competitive and industry algorithms; and 4) IT data analytic tools.
