Project Planner/Scheduler Key Role:
Work in a joint program office supporting 2 acquisition category (ACAT) identity and access management (IAM) healthcare IT programs. Work to obtain the program office's goal of maintaining eleven legacy healthcare IT products that together make up the current DoD operational medicine electronic health record (EHR) system while developing a new modernized EHR system to support soldiers, sailors, and airmen in operational medicine environments around the globe. Serve as a member of a scheduling team within the acquisition and project management team. Plan and schedule acquisition program work and personnel. Gather and analyze information to prepare reports on the progress of projects. Ensure the assignment and scheduling of work follows DoD integrated master schedule (IMS) policy. Evaluate current procedures and recommend changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.
-4 years of experience with scheduling
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
-Experience with providing detailed analysis of project schedules from project inception through completion
-Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques, risk analysis, and risk management
-Knowledge of industry best practices and standards
-Ability to update, develop, and integrate individual team schedules into the IMS
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
-Experience with the DoD or military service, including DoD 5000 ACAT programs
-Experience with acquisition, project management, or health IT
-Experience with DoD 5000.02 and completion of DAU ACQ 101
-Experience with thought leadership, including improving current state processes with executive reporting and analytics tools, such as Tableau or Polaris
-Microsoft Project Black Belt Certification
-Professional Certification, including Project Management Professional or PMI Scheduling Professional preferred
