Job Description:
****Duties/ Responsibilities:
Coordination of material requirements and movement with Planning/Scheduling/Production Control in multiple locations
Analysis and release of purchase requisitions, identification of alternates and substitutions
Maintain discrete job material requirements for substitutions, alternates, and unused components
Manage ASCP exceptions for material requirements and discrete jobs
Monitor discrete job completions
Monitor and coordinate resolution of WIP transaction errors and assisting with discrete job close process
Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering on bills of material and router issues.
Manage consigned items usage and reporting
Maintain daily discrete job shortage reports for multiple locations
Manage inter-company requisitions and inter-company sales orders for the movement of material between locations
Maintain KPI metric reports with data, notes and other updates
Order and maintain KANBAN managed items
Facilitate bi-weekly purchase order expediting meeting with buyer(s) for item on order needing to be expedited and past due purchase order
Maintain item attributes and stocking levels
Help resolve shipping and receiving issues
Help coordinate annual physical inventories
Participate in the new product introduction and engineering change order implementation process
Participate in the continuous improvement process
Process, procedure and work instruction generation and maintenance
Education Requirements: 
Associates degree
Qualifications: 



5 to 7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and materials planning or equivalent experience
Prior Oracle ASCP or equivalent experience a requirement
Excel proficiency a requirement (vlookup experience a must)
MS Word and other MS Office programs experience
Basic project management experience preferred
Ability to lead meetings
Must perform well under stress and have the ability to multi-task
Highly detail oriented and analytical
