HX5 is seeking a qualified Senior Material Planner in support of the IRES contract in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) finance and schedule analysis for the Ground Test Organization at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. Description: Responsibilities include providing analytical support to Organizational Leadership in performing their Control Account Management responsibilities. More specifically, this person will analyze plans and schedules for new or existing projects and activities; monitor, analyze and review costs, operational budgets and schedules, as well as assigned manpower levels; support and participate in discussions with the customer; collaborate with IRES Project Control Analysts, Scheduler, and Mission Planner in planning initial baseline artifacts to include Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), time-phased budgets, bill of materials (BOM) and other direct cost (ODC) spend plans. This person will support the CAM in meeting monthly IRES business and finance requirements on the development and timely delivery of baseline change artifacts, estimate-to- complete forecasts, variance analysis reports (VAR), and program management reviews (PMR) with the customer. This role requires that the incumbent formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements to CAMs\/Task Order Lead. Assess monthly Program Management Business and Finance reports for execution to plan. The successful candidate will apply knowledge in the following activities: earned value management, project planning, integrated schedule and risk management, procurement management, scope management, project execution, project monitoring and control and stakeholder management. Candidates must also demonstrate proficient communication skills facilitating contract performance report (CPR) reviews, collaborating with scope execution teams; facilitate approval boards and customer program management reviews. Will coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials timed to meet project and operational requirements. Requirements: - Responsible for coordination of material acquisition and maintenance of Bill of Material (BOM) information as central point of contact for all stakeholders - Will establish BOM Tracker with proposal information. Responsible for updating BOM Tracker with Unique Identifiers (UIDs) from Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) - Required to validate that materials to be ordered meet Automated Request for Material (ARM) Requirements - Will also complete ARM forms and route ARM for approval using Task Order\u2019s (TO) routing and approval process. Will generate material tracking reports and update BOM tracker with materials report information from SAP - Will notify stakeholders of material receipt and assist in cost and schedule variance analysis for BOM line items - Required to work directly with vendors and PjMs\/SOMs to validate accuracy of purchase order data, maintain an up-to-date status of all shipments, and expeditiously resolve material-related issues - Will maintain knowledge of IT Services Baseline material planning requirements including: IT\/ODC requirements, software and hardware licensing, maintenance renewals requirements, and miscellaneous account requirements - When required, will act as an approved buyer for low-dollar-value items * Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation. * Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance and maintain it throughout employment with HX5.
