Amazing for people who want to work for an organization that pays their employees well! ? Coordinate the details that go into planning events and meetings ? Customer service internally and externally ? Oversee contract for all vendors ? Manage events on site to ensure each run smoothly ? Oversee event production ? Establish and maintain a positive, professional relationship ? Ensure all functions are checked prior to guest arrival ? Travel approximately one weekend per month to company workshops and manage approximately six out-of-state fundraisers ? In collaboration with the VP of Communication, help oversee the communications and promotion plan for events ? Prepare and maintain accurate records/data to evaluate cost-effectiveness of program ? Oversee the budget of all event, prepare reports and evaluate the program regularly Qualifications: BA or BS degree or equivalent 2 to 5 years of prior event and meeting planning experience preferably in a not-for-profit setting. Detail oriented, adaptable, organized and demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks on time and on budget. Must be able to manage budgets and generate required reports on a timely basis. Develop workable plans, timelines, set expectations, monitor delegated activities and train, mentor, and inspire individuals. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships. Strong organizational, problem solving and human relations skills are necessary. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong interpersonal and presentation skills required. Excellent computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Pleasant disposition and professional appearance.
