The Containerboard Packaging Group, a division of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., is the largest containerboard producer in Canada, and is also a top converter of corrugated products in the country. The Group manufactures a wide range of products made from recycled fibres for its North American customers in the food, beverage and consumer products sectors, among many others. The Division, which employs close to 3,400 people, owns six containerboard mills and nineteen corrugated products plants in Canada and the United States.
Our new conversion plant, located in Piscataway, offers state-of-the-art technology and will be among the fastest in the industry. The Maintenance Planner will provide technical planning and scheduling assistance to the maintenance team and facilitate continuous improvement in our processes.
Coordinates weekly and shutdown maintenance planning and scheduling of reactive and preventive work
In collaboration with end users, ensures availability of equipment and facilities for the execution of reactive and preventive maintenance work
Leads the work order process from initiation to close
Prepares parts lists, SOP's and work order kits for planned jobs
3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a maintenance planner, is required
Post-secondary education in the mechanical or electrical field, with trade certificate, is preferred
Solid understanding of maintenance and reliability processes and tools
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Available to work additional hours as required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP
