Job Overview
Continuous Cost Improvement (CCI) is a cross-functional department focusing on joint material cost reduction of DTNA vehicles from both technical and commercial aspects. With rigorous targets, CCI makes an impact to the bottom line of the company. CCI team works cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Product Validation, Tooling, Marketing, and Changeover among other areas. It provides an understanding of how a savings idea goes from creation to implementation on a truck. CCI provides access to various levels of management and a learning opportunity for how decisions are made on critical topics. Interested in making a difference? Come join our team!
Focus on accurate implementation planning and tracking of each management approved cost reduction initiative
Facilitate meetings and align project plans with all relevant cross-functional parties.
Work with team to identify and communicate potential project risks as well as potential mitigation strategies
Prepare management communications
Focus on continuous process improvements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related area is preferred with 1 year of related experience OR an Associate’s degree with 2 years of related experience OR 6 years of related experience required
3 years of relevant experience is preferred
An attached resume is required
Excellent problem-solving skills required.
Strong organizational, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills required.
Experience in project management, facilitating project teams, and knowledge of implementation processes required.
Ability to learn the necessary systems quickly required.
Excellent Microsoft Suite skills: Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Advanced use of Microsoft Project highly preferred.
Ability to transition and prioritize multiple tasks throughout the day. Attention to detail is required.
Comfortable and willing to work through ambiguity by asking appropriate questions required.
Technical general knowledge of trucks highly preferred.
Familiarity with IMACS, CoMeT systems is preferred.
