What you’ll do
Reporting to the VP FP&A, you will be responsible for being the lead Finance business partner for key departments at KIND, supporting their needs and bring value through informed insights that relentlessly drive business performance; as well as for leading the analysis of our value chain and driving initiatives to improve results across the company. And this is how you’ll do it…
Coordinate Finance Business Partner support for key cost centers such as Executive,
Corporate Development, Finance / IT / Procurement, General Counsel / Strategy,
HR and company-wide Personnel spend
Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal functional team members to aid the business in financial analysis
Lead annual budgeting and latest estimate forecasting; as well as risks and opportunities tracking
Prepare monthly reporting analysis
Evaluate initiatives from a financial viewpoint
Generate cost-saving ideas and implement initiatives
Review contracts for approval
Continuously improve processes and systems, focus on developing self-service reporting
Assist with ad-hoc requests, special projects, and support the Finance Team on an as needed basis
Oversee company-wide value chain analysis
Develop multi-year perspective of company cost structure
Support analysis and development of actions to capture opportunities
Lead alignment around multi-year priorities
Identify and analyze information necessary to track costs and generate and disseminate periodic cost reporting
Integrate cost tracking into IBP, AOP and financial reporting processes
Engage with Procurement, across functions and with third parties on an as-needed basis

Knowledge, hands-on-experience and proven results driving large-scale cost optimization projects across multiple functions using different techniques and methodologies

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
8 years FP&A experience
Experience leading spend optimization / ZBB programs
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial reporting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ERP systems
Highly detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to balance multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Pluses
CPA with Big Four training preferred
MBA
CPG experience
Knowledge of JDE/Hubble
Indirect people management
