What is a Planner Senior Forecaster responsible for?
The Planner Senior Forecaster is directly responsible for building and analyzing statistical models to develop an accurate long-range plan. This Planner Senior Forecast will help grow the business and deliver new value propositions related to Enterprise Customer Care (ECC), Services and Sales. This person is responsible for developing and managing capacity plans to ensure a positive customer experience and improved business results.
Areas of ownership and impact:
Build and analyze statistical models to develop an accurate long-range plan.
Identify risks built into forecasting models driven by volume and/or productivity metrics and generate risk assessments for the leadership team.
Research and analyze diversified data to draw valid conclusions.
Work with managers in the identification, prioritization, planning development, coordination support, and execution of high impact (immediate and long-term) improvement plans for effective and sustainable cost savings.
Evaluate and implement new methods and techniques for operational improvement.
Analyze data using internal tools and other company software and prepare recommendations and reports to drive high-impact process improvement efforts.
Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Lead the facilitation of meetings with senior leadership to guide and influence business decisions.

What is required for this role?
We are looking for a Planner Senior Forecaster that will be an exceptional detail and data expert with a strong backbone and a respectful and courteous style that is consistent and lives the values of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. brand. We are looking for someone who results oriented with an emphasis on good time management skills to deliver on-time and accurate analysis.
The ideal candidate will roll up his/her sleeves to do the work and be a part of a team to achieve success in the execution on the strategy. The most successful candidate will be someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, is forward-thinking, progressive, understands the retail world and has a past track record of significant accomplishments and implementing forecasting and data generated solutions.
In addition to having experience in the responsibilities above, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
3 years experience utilizing and implementing forecasting methodologies and workforce planning software/applications.
3 years experience utilizing and implementing forecasting methodologies for call centers with large number of multi-skill and multi-channel complexity.
Experience working with WFM software. (Aspect, NICE, Verint, etc.).
Previous experience working with Avaya CMS.
Degree in Mathematics, Finance or Statistics.
5 years experience scheduling, forecasting or capacity planning to include utilization of workforce management tools & data analysis, telecommunication tools, contact routing and workload delivery systems.
Previous experience creating and maintaining complex databases, importing and exporting between applications.
