Production Planner Process Chemical IndustrySalary $65,000 - $80,000 Plus Bonus & Benefits & Paid Relocation to the Southern USAGrowing Chemical Manufacturer is seeking a Production Planner for their Specialty Chemical facility. Youd be responsible for proactively planning orders & services to be delivered on time. Youll create and manage sales, operations, inventory plans as well as support both custom & standard production runs. The Production Planner will also lead the monthly sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SOP) meetings.If you have APICS Certification, JDE, SAP, and experience in a manufacturing plant using chemicals in bulk processes, our client would love to see your resume! This will be a highly visible position in the plant.Other responsibilities for the Production Planner: Provide direction to customer service & sales regarding availability of products with schedules for shipment and deliveries Work with Forecast analyst, sales, marketing, & manufacturing to transform sales plans into production plans or purchase plans This Planner will plan, prepare, and manage both short-term and longer-term production plans for the manufacturing of products that maximize inventory turns. The Production Planner will also analyze, plan and build inventory parameters and safety stock levels in the systems as well as facilitate capacity planning discussions within manufacturing.
