OverviewnThe Media Supervisor will be the day-to-day point of contact for everything media related to the account. The Media Supervisor is expected to have a complete and unquestioned understanding of their assigned clientu2019s media business and overall marketing objectives and goals. This planner is steward of the media planning process and is expected to provide strategic recommendations to the account management team and/or the client. The position reports to the VP of Paid Media.nResponsibilitiesnn Day-to-day supervision of media plan including oversight of buy recommendations, execution details, budgets/accountingn Oversee and foster cross-agency relationships with account, production, and outside partnersn Interface and present to clients on regular basisn Perform as a leader with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of accounts and functioning autonomously.n Train, motivate and develop Asst. Media Planners and Plannersn Co-develop analysis with the analyst team that leads to optimization recommendationsn Works with VP of Paid Media and account teams to develop strategies and recommendations for media plansn Demonstrates close working relationship and integration with account management teamsn Responsible for account record keeping including client authorizations, insertion orders and tracking reportsn  nnQualificationsnn 5 years of media planning/buying experience, including at least 1 year focused on online/Performance marketing (direct response or eCommerce)n Deep knowledge of digital media and a working knowledge of traditional (TV, Radio & Print)n Advanced user of ad serving tools, including deeper analyticsn Strong writing and verbal communication skills (including excellent presentation skills)n Resourceful problem solvern In-platform Social Media planning and optimization experience with Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twittern Familiarity to execute paid search and programmatic media campaigns and to communicate them accurately to internal teams and directly to clientsn Strong analytic skills and ability to relate results to client business objectivesn Knowledge of media tools (ad serving, research) and procedures (both media and inter-department)n Excellent time management and multi-tasking capabilities especially the skills to work with tight deadlines and on multiple clients and projects.n The ability to work independently without daily oversightn Understands the concepts of reach, frequency, frequency management, ROI and latencyn Ability to build strong relationships with publisher and technology partnersn
