As a Commodity Material Planner, you will: Perform all functions needed to ensure lowest total cost of purchased materials and services for multiple sites to balance objectives of maximum product availability with strategic inventory plans. Assist with supplier relationships. Daily interaction with members of production on the manufacturing floor.\u00a0 Do you have the following required qualifications? \u00a0 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business and 3 years of experience in production planning and control, inventory \/ warehouse management, purchasing, or customer service experience in a manufacturing environment. Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following: Understanding of Just In Time concepts, theory of constraints, and lean philosophy. Understanding of supply chain integration touch points from supplier through manufacturing. Lean background and continuous improvement experience. Root case problem solving skills.
