THE ROLE:

Finance Data Analyst, Reporting to the Director of FP&A

We’re looking for…

As a Finance Data Analyst, you will provide financial budgeting, forecasting, performance and reporting support to the Business Units. This role will develop and report on financial performance to the Business Partners, FP&A, and business units to provide accurate information on business performance. The right person will play a key role in the department and possess a high level of integrity, curiosity, strong discipline, and a high degree of accuracy.

What you’ll accomplish…

Provide data entry to support performance and financial reporting

Work cross-functionally to gather requirements, develop and maintain automated dashboards, KPI/metric reports, and data visualizations

Translate functional specifications into technical specifications, including tasks, timelines, and time estimates

Design, build and deploy BI reports/dashboards and data visualizations

Assess and improve existing reporting and processes, helping to identify enhancement ideas and improvements in ad-hoc reporting requirements

Collaborate with other teams to integrate systems and automate process whenever applicable

Become a trusted partner to leaders while educating stakeholders on the value of business intelligence solutions and best practices and how to use them successfully

Maintain and update current state documentation to facilitate training

Leads system integration and upgrades

Drive standardization - facilitate the establishment of a consistent foundation, spanning across businesses and functions

Accountable for the ongoing improvement of data quality, reduce data and information errors on interfaces and transactions

Constant exposure to key business leaders and an active role in the weekly/monthly meetings with Accounting and Finance teams

THE RIGHT FIT:

You have…

At least 2-4 years of experience using Power BI, data storytelling/visualization, report publishing, security

Experience in creating BI reports based on inputs from a variety of data sources

Experience in financial planning activities

Demonstrated business forecasting

Skilled in analyzing, interpreting, and solving complex business problems

Proven ability to be team oriented and self-directed

Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results

Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
