Solutions Consultant (Supply Planning), Hardware Business Systems
As a Solutions Consultant in this fast-growing team, you will bridge the technical and business worlds as you design scalable systems and integration solutions for our business teams. You'll actively engage with cross-functional teams and work closely with strategic partners to shape the successes of our products.
In partnership with our CorpEng Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the delivery of a Supply Chain Planning system solution required to scale and support our growing Google Hardware business, which includes integrations with internal systems and other SaaS applications.
The project efforts require an astute ability to solve complex problems and build scalable solutions, to learn Google’s infrastructure, and to gain a deep understanding of our evolving business model. You will expertly assess operational workflows and target application feature development to support the goals of that workflow, not just mimic an existing process.

Work with the business to define comprehensive business requirements, make the business case for applications or features that support our operations, and partner with Engineering to enable these capabilities, including applying an understanding of Supply Chain Planning systems to assist in solutioning of business requirements.
Organize, collect and analyze relevant project data and manage project work predictably. Facilitate broad collaboration with clear communication and documentation.
Oversee program/project execution ensuring successful, on-time delivery of projects, while work as a liaison between internal business teams and business applications/engineering teams.
Manage risks by anticipating bottlenecks and dependencies, managing program prioritization, making trade-offs, and balancing business needs versus constraints.
Be responsible for systems roll-out and change management, including new process definition, UAT, training, go-live, and adoption. Establish the key success metrics and goals for your applications.
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience working with Salesforce.
3 years of experience managing complex projects.
Hands-on data analysis and reporting/dashboarding experience.
Experience managing vendor driven/delivered projects. Experience with industry standard supply chain planning tools.
Experience working with SaaS, and an understanding of enterprise technology stack.
Familiarity with master planning, materials management, and bill of materials processes and domain data.
Demonstrated project management, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
