MATERIAL PLANNER OPPORTUNITY WITH COLORADO'S LARGEST EMPLOYER!QUALIFICATIONS:* College degree or minimum 1-3 years' experience with MRP Planning, asset management, or sales support * Demonstrate strategic thinking and the ability to execute a detailed plan to produce efficient and profitable solutions. * Ability to multi-task at a fast pace using time management and prioritization skills * Ability to work independently with little supervision, understanding how to problem solve within a corporate environment. * Ability to create influential relationships with internal and external customers, as well as with offshore resources. * Strong communication skills * The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external resources to get results. * The ability to understand and evaluate metrics and apply process improvement metrics. Proficient with Microsoft applications including Word and Excel WORK ENVIRONMENT:This is a very large team for Arrow and they support field offices all over the country. The entire team consists of: 116 Product Managers 82 Buyers 27 Planners This team supports $4 billion in sales for Arrow and they could be managing inventory up to $10 million in value just in their individual role alone. Hours: M-F 8-am to 5pm, may have some flexibility like 7-4. May work OT occasionally. Cannot work from home while on contract. WHY THE REQ IS OPEN: Arrow went through a new system integration last year, and the go-live date was Jan. 2018. They are now working in Oracle. They have realized through this transition that the volume of transactions has increased for this department, and they are hiring 50 contractors to assist in catching up on backlogs, and then to maintain the volume moving forward. Arrow culture: very development heavy - like to promote from within, they hire on contract for a variety of departments with the intent of hiring their next group of leadership. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Understanding a customer's MRP for pipeline evaluation * Analyzing product pipelines, adjustments per supplier deliveries and lead times * Communicating with Branch personnel in order to communicate with customers with updates and resolutions if needed * Managing inventory to financial goals * Work closely with Purchasing Department to meet Customer, Sales & Inventory needs * Data compilation, comparison, and analysis * Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis, develop corrective actions, test and implement to prevent future issues.About Aerotek: Our people are everything.
