Engility is seeking a Strategic Planner to support the FAA's Operational Concepts, Validation, and Requirements organization. This position provides support to the AJV-7 group's management team and it requires some understanding of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Works with limited supervision as part of the program management team whose core responsibility is to analyze, and report on data collected. Also, provide advisory and analytical support for development of strategies, planning and implementation activities associated with the execution of fundamental changes in how the ATO conducts business. Particular focus will be on building, maintaining, and analyzing schedules and budgets as well as support on planning, developing and implementing strategic plans and schedules; communication planning; develop, coordinate and obtain senior level management input and approval for planning agendas, logistics and communication of planning session; capturing and managing action item status. This activity will include generating program/project status, schedule indicators, project schedule trends, and schedule optimizations. Responsible for developing and analyzing weekly/monthly reports on business related metrics.
Bachelors Degree required in related field, and 1 years of related experience. 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable
Proficiency with knowledge management practices and standard visualization tools (e.g., MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
