Job Description

CVS is looking for a motivated individual to join their Pharmacy Payer Reimbursement team! This position will involve collaboration with multiple business owners across CVS Health.

The Payer Relations department is responsible for negotiating pharmacy payer contracts, monitoring trends in the managed care industry that will impact short and long term pharmacy profitability, and developing third party payer strategies that will favorably impact CVS retail pharmacy market share, profitability and working capital metrics.

As a Senior Analyst for Reimbursement, you will be responsible for payer level budgeting, forecasting, proforma P&L modeling and monthly analysis for pharmacy reimbursement and will be a key liaison to the corporate Finance team and Payer Relation Directors.

The Senior Analyst will play a key role in retrieving and modeling out all necessary metrics management needs to make critical business decisions. This role will require a proven ability to perform well and with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines, as well as strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. A strong candidate for this position will be able to use a variety of business tools such as Tableau, SQL,and Excel to extract, model and summarize data in clear and efficient formats.

The preferred candidate will have:

* Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial impact

* Outstanding strategic thinking and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable recommendations

* Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization

* Knowledge of predictive modeling tools and techniques

* Advanced knowledge of workstation software: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, SQL

Required Qualifications

*2 years experience in financial planning and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a healthcare or corporate retail organization


Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent expereince required.
