Job Description and Responsibilities We are seeking a Production Planner to join our growing team. The Production Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling and control activities. Responsibilities: Planning and scheduling of Rail Rolling production using the Sales Order system in Oracle 11i Ordering semi-finished rounds for rolling production requirements Inventory maintenance and control for semi-finished, rounds WIP and finished goods Daily reconciling of rolling and finishing production; monthly reconciling of shipments and inventories Creation and maintenance of product process sheets Forecasting and coordinating all aspects of rolling and finishing production from semi-finished availability to shipping of finished product Schedule, direct and supervise physical inventories Interface with traffic and weld plants to coordinate deliveries Prepare monthly and quarterly production, shipping, on-time delivery and inventory reports Job Requirements Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; Four year technical degree or equivalent preferred Experience in inventory control Proficient in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Two years of experience with Oracle inventory and production modules Working knowledge of ERMS rail grades, sections and quality system Accounting education or experience Three years of experience in directing employees Safety focused All applicants must be legally able to work in the USA without sponsorship. **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Individuals with Disabilities, and Veterans.
