The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. seeks applicants for the above referenced position within the Planning and Development Department of the agency. This is a responsible entry-level administrative position dedicated to the planning of affordable housing with emphasis on modernization and redevelopment of public housing. General responsibilities include: assistance with preparation of pro formas, evaluation of physical improvement needs of properties, preparation of funding proposals and Requests for Proposals, and administration of contracts for consulting architect and engineers. Other responsibilities include coordination of activities involving consulting architects and engineers, resident councils, other CHA departments and funding agencies. Occasional evening meetings with residents and neighborhood groups are also responsibilities of this position.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in one of the social sciences and experience in housing or planning and public administration required. A Master’s Degree is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior experience with real estate development is also helpful.

Pay Grade 9-Salary: $ 29.64/hr.
