Georgia-Pacific Gypsum, LLC has an immediate need for an experiencedMaintenance Planner to join our team at the Savannah, Georgia gypsummanufacturing facility. Selection will be based on a series of assessments, as well as a MBM interview. The role of the selected candidate will be to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of manpower, parts and material, and equipment access. Maintaining liaison between Production and Maintenance, the planner is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordination of all plannable maintenance work performed on the plant site. The planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance related matter. A Day In The Life Typically Includes: * Ensures that all internal customers of Maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality service * Is responsible for long-range as well as short-range planning * Reviews and screens each request for completeness, accuracy and necessity * Determines the best way to accomplish the workconsulting with the requestor and/or the Maintenance Resources as appropriate. * Assembles the planned job package Detailed work order Job plan detail by task Labor deployment by craft and skill Bill of Material Acquisition Plan * Monitors and expedites materials/parts delivery * Checks preparedness for each day of the Weekly Master Schedule What You Will Need: Basic Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * Experience working in a manufacturing environment * Experience in mechanical maintenance * Experience reading schematics * Experience with pumps, gear reducers, pneumatics, and hydraulics * Minimum of five (5) years experience with maintenance planning * Experience with predictive maintenance (PdM) * Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Project, Excel, Word, and Publisher to produce executive summaries, Gantt charts and graphs What Will Put You Ahead? Preferred Qualifications: * Minimum of five (5) years of electrical maintenance experience * Minimum of five (5) years experience using MP2 Job Context: The Maintenance Planner should be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The Savannah Gypsum facility is an industrial environment which at times is hot, humid, cold, and noisy. The position requires wearing personal protective equipment (i.e. safety glasses, ear plugs, and hard hat to name a few). FLSA Classification: The Planner position is an hourly non-exempt role.
