Tasks: Assembles and analyzes all data pertinent to creating both rough-cut capacity and detailed production plans from the unconstrained demand plan. Partners with assigned manufacturing units to identify and understand capacity constraints at an aggregate and detailed level. Recommends short & long term solution scenario plans to address capacity constraints. Addresses customer needs pertaining to production scheduling inquiries and changes. KPIs include on time delivery (OTD), fill rate, and inventory stock depth. Facilitates the monthly capacity planning process ensuring that the S&OP capacity planning cycle is effective, timely, and approval requirements are met. Using S&OP planning tools, works closely with manufacturing, supply chain, sales, & product management to generate and maintain the rough-cut capacity and constrained production plans . Specific support areas include: data assembly, data cleaning, data analysis, network rule maintenance, planning tool parameter maintenance, report generation, S&OP demand planning tool administration, and capacity planning process participant training. Works closely with the NEMA S&OP Inventory Architect and manufacturing plants to review and provide leadership and experience based intelligence to inventory management and optimization. Serves as a designated alternate for finished goods inventory management. Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with the company's policies and procedures and are in compliance with health and safety guidelines. Requirements: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED AND 4 years\u2019 supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment. OR Associates degree AND 2 years\u2019 supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment. OR Bachelor\u2019s Degree *A Master\u2019s Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience. *A PhD\/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor\u2019s degree in operations, industrial engineering, material management, logistics, or supply chain . 3 years of experience in a role or roles requiring moderately complex data analysis and constraint management. Experience in operations scheduling, operations analysis, supply chain planning, OPEX, and or related areas. Certification as an APICS CPIM, ASQ CQE, 6 Sigma Black Belt, 6 Sigma Green belt, or 4Q Advanced practitioner . Certification in one of these areas or other continuous improvement based method is expected within 24 months of accepting the position. Knowledge of NEMA products along with experience in BUS (SAP) including production scheduling, planning bills, MRP, OPEX, and or materials related transactions. Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Solid computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint is highly desired. Visio & Access\/database experience is beneficial.
