ForwardPMX is looking for an Assistant Media Planner/Buyer to join one of our Digital Display teams. The ideal Assistant Media Planner/Buyer will be eager to learn about the digital media marketplace and help maintain relationships with key outside vendors and clients. They will establish themselves within the company and help assist with clients as experts in the field of digital media, specifically Display media. Team members in this role are expected to help negotiate with media vendors, work with their supervisor to develop strategic recommendations that meet client-marketing objectives, and manage day to day activities.
Assist in all aspects of client’s display and social tactical elements
Provide consistent reporting insights into display and social campaign metrics
Work with digital media planner and discipline leads to develop strategic channel/media approach that will meet client objectives
Willing to learn direct response/acquisition media strategies and tactics
Utilize media research tools and resources to aid in campaign development
Assist in developing RFPs and field any vendor questions surrounding the RFP with help of digital media planner
Help evaluate and organize returned proposals and determine vehicle selections
Aid in the development of final buy recommendations
Creating and updating weekly campaign progress reports for client
Analyzing performance data and provide optimization recommendation to digital media planner
Assist campaign implementation
Help gather creative spec data for creative
Developing insertion orders
Trafficking, QA and monitoring of multiple campaigns
Assist in Invoice reconciliation/Bill-Pay process
Bachelor's Degree
6 months to 1 year digital media experience including interactive planning
6 months to 1 year digital or online advertising industry experience preferred
Should have digital display paid social experience
Programmatic Experience (DMP, DSP, exchange) a major plus
In-platform experience with social ad management tools a major plus
Knowledge of social metrics (i.e., Facebook & YouTube insights) a major plus
Experience using comScore and 3rd party ad serving technology (i.e., DoubleClick) a major plus
Ability to work with MS Office product suite including strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment and meet tight deadlines
Be a self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team
Be proactive about gaining industry knowledge and be able to share it
Passion for digital media
Quick learner who is proactive and not afraid to ask questions
Solid understanding of general advertising and direct marketing performance metrics a major plus
Strong written and oral communication skills
Time management skills
Proficient in managing numbers (important)
