Job Summary Background: In October of 2020, Eisai and Cogstate announced the expansion of their agreement for the global development and commercialization of Digital Cognitive Assessment Technologies. Eisai has secured the global development rights and exclusive commercialization rights of all cognitive function tests developed by Cogstate, including the Cogstate Brief BatteryTM (CBB) for use in healthcare and other markets. Developed by Cogstate, the CBB is a scientifically validated digital tool that enables cognitive function self-checks and consists of four tests evaluating psychomotor function, attention, learning and memory, and working memory. In the United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, the CBB has been adapted as a medical device named CognigramTM that has achieved marketing authorization by regulators in these jurisdictions and provides informative results for healthcare professionals to support clinical examination to aid in the diagnosis of MCI and dementia. The Sr. Manager, Commercial Planning & Operations, provides project management support for activities related to the commercial development, implementation, and management of digital cognitive assessment initiatives along with future digital solutions. These include leading multiple cross-functional teams to develop an operational infrastructure, brand planning cycles, digital product development and enhancements, commercialization strategies, customer engagement models, business continuity planning etc. He/She will provide operational support to the project team and drive the assigned projects or programs to completion. Plans and manages project/program activities including the development and monitoring of policies, training, communications, and action items. Nurtures productive relationships with internal and external customers (Health Systems, HCPs and 3rd Party vendors). Ensures quality and timeliness of deliverables for the program/project are met. Initiates and coordinates the decision-making and risk-management process. Responsibilities Leads cross-functional project core teams and workstreams to support the development and execution of Cognigram projects and initiatives, including the implementation and on-going management of customer experience programs Responsible for establishing and leading effective governance processes that foster effective communication, decision making and risk management. Identifies and implements cross-project / program working / best practices to facilitate standardization and coordination across disciplines, functions and/or programs. Serves as a liaison with external digital partners as well as multiple internal functions (Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Medical, Business Insights, Data/Analytics, IT etc.) to facilitate the advancement of cross-functional projects / programs. Creates and maintains project / program plans, timelines, meeting agendas & materials, budgets, resourcing requirements, rolling summaries and other tools required to facilitate planning and coordination of deliverables for initiative and projects. Ensures effective, accurate and timely communication across functional areas within the project / program, serving as a point of contact among functional areas for assigned project / program-related issues. Assesses project issues and develops solutions to meet productivity and quality goals and objectives. Develops tools and mechanisms for monitoring progress and problem solving with project and cross functional team. Defines and documents working / best practices that can be used across other projects. Tracks strategy progress (i.e. metrics and KPIs) against goals and ambition to report status and inform potential course correction opportunities Analyses strategic questions/options and provides evidenced-based recommendations Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional work streams and have senior management interaction (presentations, etc.) Lead efforts to build a playbook to execute programs with build-test-iterate approaches suitable for digital solutions that are for healthcare providers, patients, and/or consumers Requirements Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year institution required A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience working in an Operational, Information Technology, or Project Management role; While pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical experience is preferred it is not required Previous cross-functional team leadership experience preferred Project management experience preferred Ability to plan, prioritize, execute and follow up in a timely manner while anticipating issues and roadblocks required Ability to create and deliver concise business or project updates to senior leadership Strong understanding of data and analytics Strong written and verbal communications skills Strong leadership skills - must demonstrate the ability to build relationships and connect with client groups and key stakeholders within and outside the company Proficiency in Excel and Power Point required Eisai is an equal opportunity employer and as such, is committed in policy and in practice to recruit, hire, train, and promote in all job qualifications without regard to race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or veteran status.
